Marine hardwood
Traditional hulls
Ulin below the waterline, teak for decks and joinery.

What the island actually offers is a working network: sheltered water at Benoa, small yards at Serangan, and design offices in Denpasar.
Bali Yacht Builder is the client facing arm of the Komodo Luxury group, coordinating that network so an owner deals with one team.
For wooden vessels above roughly 20 metres the hull is built where the skills live, at the group yards in South Sulawesi. Composite and smaller builds can be laminated closer to Bali.
Either way, fit out, systems installation, survey and sea trials are managed from the Bali side.

One build contract can span all five.
Practical limits are set by slipway length in Sulawesi and berth depth at Benoa.
Three families
We are honest about where each material is genuinely strong.
Owners visit the hull during construction. Flights from Bali make supervision practical.
Three to four months of engineering in Denpasar before anything is cut.
Laid in Sulawesi for hardwood, or near Bali for composite.
Construction with owner inspection visits timed to the stage.
The vessel sails or is shipped to Benoa or Labuan Bajo.
Engines, electrical, interior and rig installed and commissioned.
Survey, sea trials and documentation.
Roughly 10 to 14 months for smaller vessels and 18 to 30 months for 30m and above.

Start with the specification, not the yard.
Planning ranges in USD, not quotes. Final pricing follows the design brief and specification.
