Research and sourcing, fact checking, an update cadence with a corrections policy, and where our commercial interest sits.
We are not a neutral source
We build yachts and we want the work. Saying so is the first editorial standard, not a disclaimer at the bottom.
What we can do is state where a figure comes from, mark a range as a planning band rather than a quote, and correct it publicly when it is wrong.
Where a page recommends against building with us, that is not modesty. It is the only thing that makes the rest of the advice worth reading.

How a claim gets onto the site
Four moves, and the third is the one most sites skip.
Source
A figure comes from our own project records, a named body, or published industry data.
Verify
Technical claims are checked by the naval architect or the project team who would own them.
Mark
Ranges are labelled as planning bands. Anything we cannot verify is removed rather than softened.
Correct
Errors are fixed on the page and the change is dated rather than quietly overwritten.
If you find something on this site that is wrong, tell us. A correction costs less than the credibility of every other number on the page.
